Last updated October 22, 2026. Hatchr is made by Lawlor Solutions, LLC.
Your habits, animals, pellets and progress are stored on your device and, if you're signed in to iCloud, in your own private iCloud account so your game follows you to a new phone. We can't see your iCloud data. We don't have accounts and don't sell or share your data.
Hatchr asks before checking any photo, and you can turn photo checks off in Settings at any time. When you prove a habit with photo checks on, a small copy of the photo is sent to our server and passed through OpenRouter to an AI model that checks whether it shows your habit, with zero data retention, then discarded. Photos are never stored and nobody else sees them.
To stop abuse, the app proves it is genuine with Apple App Attest, and the server counts checks per device per day. These counts expire within about a day.
If you allow notifications, your device's push token is stored so we can send egg alerts and occasional offers and news. Turn off offers and news in Hatchr's Settings, or all notifications in the Settings app, at any time.
Purchases are handled by Apple and RevenueCat, which receive an anonymous app user ID and your purchase history to deliver what you buy and restore it. We never see your payment details.
Phone Lock uses Apple's Screen Time APIs on your device. The apps you choose stay on your device and are never sent to us.
Hatchr is suitable for families and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Delete the app, then remove Hatchr's iCloud data in Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage (or Saved to iCloud) → Hatchr.
